Total red meat production was estimated as 291 thousand 565 tonnes in the 4th quarter
 

Total red meat production increased by 12.3% compared with the same quarter of previous year and it was estimated as 291 thousand 565 tonnes.
 
It increased by 7.4% compared with the previous year and became 1 million 201 thousand 469 tonnes. In total red meat production, the amount produced by slaughterhouses was 158 thousand 911 tonnes.

While cattle meat production increased by 9.5% and estimated as 262 thousand 476 tonnes, sheep meat production increased 45.9% and estimated as 26 thousand 123 tonnes, and goat meat production increased by 57.5% tonnes and estimated as 2 thousand 967 tonnes compared with the same quarter of previous year.
