Otokar Started Bus Delivery to Georgia

Turkey's leading bus manufacturer, Otokar, started the delivery of the biggest export agreement of the year, which it signed with Georgia in June. 5 Sultan LFs, the first batch of the agreement that will usher in a new era in Georgian public transportation, were delivered recently.

Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues to breathe new life into the public transportation of big cities with its innovative buses. Otokar, which has received great acclaim for its design, ergonomics and technology in the countries where it is used with the vehicles it produces with its 57 years of experience, started the delivery of the 175-unit bus export agreement it signed with Georgia at the end of June.

As a result of the transformation works initiated to meet Georgia's increasing public transportation needs, Otokar won the tender by leaving its international competitors behind and delivered the first 5 Sultan LFs within the scope of the agreement. Deliveries of the export agreement, which consists of a total of 175 vehicles, 117 of which are Sultan LF and 58 of which are Kent LF, will continue in 2021. Otokar will also provide spare parts supply and training for Sultan LF and Kent LF, which will usher in a new era in transportation by offering Georgians a more environmentally friendly and comfortable travel with their design, technical features and large interior volume. Otokar buses will serve in the cities of Poti, Gori, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Rustavi and Telavi.
