Otokar Met with Recommended Body Manufacturers in Sakarya

Otokar, one of Turkey's leading automotive companies, hosted Turkey's leading recommended superstructure manufacturers in Sakarya for the Atlas truck, which eases the burden of trade.

In the organization attended by the owners and managers of companies producing superstructures, detailed information about Otokar's expanding truck product range was given and future projects were shared.

Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, continues to meet with its stakeholders across Turkey. Otokar, which has brought a new breath to the light truck segment and eased the burden of trade with its Atlas vehicle for nearly 10 years, hosted Turkey's leading recommended superstructure manufacturers in Sakarya. The organization, which included Deputy General Manager Basri Akgül, Commercial Vehicles Public Sales Director Mahir Özşeker and Commercial Vehicles Public Sales Manager Emre Sarp, was held with the participation of 51 officials from 24 body manufacturers across Turkey.

Within the scope of the meeting, detailed information about Atlas' expanding product family was shared with the superstructure manufacturers, who had the opportunity to examine the production activities of Otokar, which operates with more than 2 thousand employees in its factory established on an area of 552 thousand square meters in Sakarya. Additionally, Otokar's future projects in the truck market were conveyed. At the same time, bodybuilders participating in the event had the opportunity to examine in detail the Atlas truck family, which has been the choice of many institutions and companies with its resistance to difficult conditions, high power and performance features, and convey their technical demands and opinions to Otokar officials. During the meeting, which was very productive, ideas were exchanged for the upcoming collaborations between Otokar and superstructure manufacturers.

Deputy General Manager Basri Akgül stated that Otokar, which introduced the 12-ton new member Atlas 3D to the 8.5-ton Atlas truck family in the first quarter of the year in response to the expectations and needs in the market, continued its strong rise in trucks and said: We aim to carry a different tonnage with our new truck. Atlas 3D has already brought a new breath to the light truck segment with its 12-ton maximum load weight, affordable investment cost, economical fuel consumption, low spare parts and maintenance costs. It has become the most popular vehicle in the logistics and transportation industry recently. "We want to continue increasing our truck sales with Atlas, which is among our vehicles. We have full faith that we will achieve the goals we have set with our strong stakeholders," he said.
