Otokar Delivered the First 20 Metrobuses Produced Specially for Istanbulites

Turkey's leading bus manufacturer, Otokar, made the first delivery of 20 units of the 100-unit metrobus purchase tender opened by IETT General Directorate last year.

The delivery ceremony of the domestic metrobuses produced specifically for Istanbulites took place with the participation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, IETT General Manager Alper Bilgili and Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç. The delivery of Otokar KENT Otokar will also provide 3-year after-sales service of the vehicles to IETT.

Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, delivered the first 20 of the KENT XL metrobuses produced specifically for Istanbulites. Otokar, which has been providing comfortable transportation to tens of thousands of Istanbulites every day with more than 1000 vehicles within IETT since 2012, delivered the local metrobuses at a ceremony held at IETT's metrobus garage in Edirnekapı.
