Otokar Buses Will Transport Passengers on the Southern Coast of Italy

Otokar, the leader of the Turkish bus market, received an order for a total of 148 vehicles for Doruk and natural gas Kent buses, worth approximately 34.2 million euros, from two different leading companies in the Italian market.

Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues its successful debut in Europe, its target market for commercial vehicles. The company received an order for a total of 148 buses from two different operators within the scope of the framework agreements signed with the Italy-based purchasing office Consip in 2021 and 2022. Deliveries with a total value of 34.2 million Euros are planned to start in the second half of 2023 and be completed in batches in the first half of 2024.

58 of the orders will be delivered to the Tuscany region of Italy. 28 medium-sized Doruk buses and 30 natural gas Kent buses will serve in the fleet of Autolinee Toscane, the leading transportation operator that undertakes all transportation in Italy's Tyrrhenian Sea coastal region.

90 natural gas Kent buses will be exported to Puglia, the southern region of Italy. The vehicles will provide passenger transportation services within the Puglia Region Transport Department (Regione Puglia Dipartimento Mobilita).
