Otokar's electric bus in Munich

Turkey's leading bus manufacturer, Otokar, is one of the important fairs in Europe and this year in Munich, "What will move us from now on?" It took part in IAA Mobility 2021, organized with the slogan, with its 12-meter electric bus Kent Electra. At the most important meeting of the automotive world, Otokar's innovative electric bus carried 2 thousand visitors for 6 days in cooperation with Webasto.

Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, took part in IAA Mobility 2021, Europe's first face-to-face automobile fair after the new type of coronavirus pandemic, with its 12-meter urban electric bus. The City, powered by Webasto batteries of Otokar, which has made many innovations in areas such as alternative fuel vehicles, smart cities and safe transportation systems with its R&D expenditure of 1.3 billion TL in the last 10 years and has the title of Turkey's first electric bus manufacturer. Electra bus transported passengers throughout the fair.

Offering comfortable and safe travel to millions of passengers in more than 50 countries of the world, especially in Europe, Otokar's electric bus IAA Mobility served on the "Blue Lane" line allocated for emission-free vehicles in 2021. Kent Electra, in cooperation with Webasto, traveled more than 1000 kilometers between the fairground and the city center for 6 days and carried more than 2 thousand fair visitors.

Kent Electra attracts attention with its dynamic, elegant and modern design; It was designed to provide a cleaner environment, quieter traffic, lower operating costs and higher efficiency. Developed at the Otokar R&D Center, Kent Electra with Voith transmission attracted attention in Munich with its comfort, technology and innovative solutions in the field of security, as well as its design. Kent Electra, which can offer a range of over 300 kilometers depending on topography and usage profile with a full charge, also won the appreciation of passengers at Munich IAA Mobility 2021.
