Industrial Production Index, August 2023

Industrial production increased by 3.1% annually

When the subsectors of the industry (based on 2015=100) were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 5.1%, manufacturing index increased by 1.8% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 4.9% in August 2023, compared with same month of previous year.

Industrial production decreased by 0.8% monthly

When the subsectors of the industry were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 0.2%, manufacturing index decreased by 1.3% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 2.4% in August 2023, compared with previous month.
