HAVELSAN and OTOKAR Cooperation at IDEF'21

HAVELSAN, one of the well-established companies of the Turkish defense industry, and OTOKAR, Turkey's leading land systems manufacturer, announced their cooperation projects at IDEF'21.

HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif NACAR and OTOKAR General Manager Serdar GÖRGÜÇ gave information about the signed MoU at the HAVELSAN stand. The works within the scope of cooperation are:

Joint development of OTOKAR BMS Combat Management System based on HAVELSAN DOOB/HARBİYE-Tactical to be used in tactical armored vehicles produced by OTOKAR,

Positioning the HAVELSAN HELMET system, developed by HAVELSAN and enabling GNSS receivers on military-civilian systems to produce the needed location information and continue their duties despite jammers, in accordance with OTOKAR's needs,

CBRN products developed by HAVELSAN against CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) threats and dangers are integrated with Otokar Vehicle Electronics and Control System (AEKS) on platforms developed by OTOKAR, if needed within the scope of the projects.
