Delivery of 55 Centro from Otokar to Balıkesir

Turkey's leading bus manufacturer Otokar continues to raise the bar of comfort in public transportation with the CENTRO microbus specially designed for municipalities and public bus cooperatives.

The last delivery address of Otokar CENTRO, which managed to become the favorite of public transportation in a short time with its design, spacious interior, high maneuverability, comfort, technology, equipment and low operating costs, was Balıkesir. Bandırma Transportation Services Trade Inc. 55 Otokar CENTRO microbuses purchased by Otokar were put into service at a ceremony held in Bandırma Cumhuriyet Square.

Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, continues the deliveries of the CENTRO microbus, the new favorite of urban public transportation. The last delivery address of CENTRO, which the company developed specifically for municipalities and public bus cooperatives with its 60 years of experience on a global scale, was Balıkesir. Bandırma Transportation Services Trade Inc. 55 CENTRO microbuses purchased by the company were delivered at a ceremony held in Bandırma Cumhuriyet Square. Following the 25 vehicles that started service last year, the number of Otokar CENTROs used in Balıkesir public transportation has reached 80.

Within the scope of the transformation and modernization works carried out by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality in urban transportation services, the giant delivery ceremony of 55 vehicles added to the fleet of Bandırma Transportation Services Trade Inc. was held with intense participation. The ceremony was attended by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz, Bandırma District Governor Engin Aksakal, Otokar Domestic Sales and Marketing Director Murat Tokatlı, Domestic Bus Sales Manager Murat Torun, Bus Regional Sales Manager Sebahattin Yılmaz, Bus Regional Sales Manager Yekta Doğan, Otokar Dealer Atalay Otomotiv. Officials İsmet Atalay, Ali Rıza Atalay, Emre Atalay, Balıkesir Chamber of Drivers and Automobiles President Rıza Tekin, Bandırma Transportation Services Chairman Ayhan Soylu, vehicle captains and many Balıkesir residents attended.

Stating that important investments have been made so that the people of Balıkesir can receive more comfortable transportation services, Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz said, "We have undertaken a great transformation in the transportation system. We are making transportation more comfortable with our new 55 vehicles in Bandırma. I hope that the vehicles put into service will be beneficial to the people of Bandırma." .
