2 Awards from SATSO to Otokar

Otokar, one of Turkey's leading automotive industry companies, was deemed worthy of two awards at the "Stars of Sakarya Award Ceremony" organized by the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry with its Human Resources and environmentally friendly sustainability efforts.

Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, was deemed worthy of two awards at the "Stars of Sakarya Award Ceremony", which was made traditional by the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO), celebrating the 106th anniversary of its establishment.

Awards were presented in 10 different categories at the award ceremony held at Sakarya Radisson Blu Hotel with the participation of Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz, Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Yüce, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, SATSO President Akgün Altuğ.

Otokar, which is responsible in environmental, social and governance areas and considers stakeholder participation, follows a road map that will strengthen its business strategy within the scope of sustainability studies and respect the environment, people and the future. In addition to projects for the development of electric and alternative fuel vehicles, Otokar also invests in technologies that focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in production, and was awarded the "Environment Award" at the organization.

Otokar, which considers its employees as its greatest asset and develops its corporate policies and practices with a people-centered approach, received its second award in the field of Human Resources. According to the 2022 Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) data, Otokar, which ranked 1st by providing the most employment in Sakarya, also won the "Employment Award" at the ceremony.
